The 2026 Capitol Quest Fellowship offers an immersive opportunity for a cohort of sophomores with a deep interest in Public policy, community advocacy, and civic engagement to explore how change happens at the national level. Scheduled during Fall break of 2026 in Washington, DC, this program brings together students committed to intensive professional development across the many pathways that shape public life. From legislative policy and government service to nonprofit leadership, grassroots organizing, public interest law, research, and community-centered advocacy.
Fellows will cultivate skills in professionalism, networking, and understanding how policy is made and contested, while engaging with a diverse array of leaders in the field, including policymakers, community organizers, nonprofit directors, policy analysts, government officials, public interest advocates, and more. The primary aim of this fellowship is to provide sophomores with a comprehensive understanding of how public policy and advocacy work intersect, empowering them to make well-informed decisions about their future academic and professional paths.
